The Institute for Africa and Middle East Studies (IAMES) is a research organization established by the Degree No.26/ND–CP dated 15 January 2004 of the Vietnamese Government.  IAMES is a prestigious institute of the VASS and it stands out as Vietnam’s only research organization focusing on African and Middle Eastern issues.  IAMES invests considerable efforts in research and innovation as part of an ongoing mission to advance national knowledge about African and Middle Eastern countries

·       Suggestions for Promoting IAMES and Israel’s Partners Cooperation:

-        Signing MOU between IAMES and Israeli research institutes or university;

-        Giving opportunities for IAMES staffs to study tour or to take part into short-term or long-term training courses related to language, scientific studies in order to enrich their knowledges about Israel;

-        Providing IAMES with documents and materials like books and maganizes related to Israel studies for translation and publication;

-        Jointly organising workshops, roundtables and seminars as both concerns.

-        Carrying out joint projects to research in the variety of investment cooperation, technology transfer, education cooperation and tourism between Vietnam and Israel.
